At least 10 people were killed when Russia fired a missile at a nine-story apartment building in Odessa, Ukraine, in the Black Sea port, local officials said.

“The death toll in the strike against multi-storey apartment buildings has now risen to 10,” Serhi Brachuk, spokesman for the Odessa regional administration, told Telegram.

Brachuk also told Ukrainian state television that seven people were injured, including three children.

He said rescue work was underway as some people were buried under the rubble after parts of the building collapsed.

Another missile hit the resort facility, injuring several people, Brachuk said.
