The line of models stretching from X1 to X7 is covered by BMW global SUV segments. The only question is, how will the company replace each one over the next decade?
Third generation X1 (Internal code: U11) is expected to be announced soon and will be in production at the Regensburg plant in the third quarter. It will use FAAR, an evolution of the previous model and previous leading platforms.
A seven-year U11 life cycle is expected, with a facelift at the end of 2026.
The BMW Group is also developing the electric X1, which should be called the iX1 (see future report on i models of this car).

It is also said that he plans to build the BMW X3 in San Luis Potos, Mexico. Whether this will replace U.S. production is unknown.
The fourth generation line released in 2018 X5 It was more or less constantly corrected, with its worldwide sales.
Production takes place in the US, but there is assembly in India as well. In addition, for the first time in the history of the model series, the X5 was also built in China. This is a special long wheel shape. The plant in question is Dadong / Da Dong, where construction began in April. The length is 5060 mm (+138) 3105 mm wheel (+130).
While the Li’s wheeled base is identical to the X7, BMW’s most expensive SUV is still 91mm longer than the extended X5.
The release time of the Li is a bit odd, considering that the intermediate facelift of the standard-length SUV is planned quite soon. This should be done in the fourth quarter in North America, Europe and elsewhere.
The next generation X5 code is G65.
As the third generation X6 Launched in late 2019, the replacement is still a few years old. The G06 series model facelift is scheduled for 2023, the G66, the successor, which is expected to arrive in 2026.
