Bongani Zungu’s five-year tenure at French club Amiens has seemingly come to an end.
Reports from France suggest that the 29-year-old midfielder has left the Ligue 2 side.
Zungu, who has been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, is set to become a free agent later this month.
The Bafana Bafana star played 75 games for Amiens. Bongani Zungu scored twice and set up once for the club.

“I met Sundowns President (Patrice) Motsepe in Paris the other day,” Bongani Zungu told Sports Night Amplified
“He told me that Sundowns will always be at home. So Sundowns will always be my home.
“No matter what happens from now on, until I make my decision about where I’m going to be (playing in the 2022/2023 season).
“Sundowns is the only team that spoke to my agent and they are still speaking to my agent. Others are trying.”
