Cardoso’s latest Amakhosi star has been linked with exit

However, the Chiefs’ management and technical team have until now had faith in the former Bafana Bafana defender.

Cardoso joined the Chiefs from Free State Stars in June 2015 and high expectations were placed on him to help the club achieve their goals.

Although Cardoso has been a stalwart companion for the Chiefs for the past seven years, he has still not had any success in terms of trophies.

Cardoso has played 24 times in all competitions for Chiefs this season, and he found the back of the net once when he came on against Baroka in August 2021.
