Cellulant Recognized for Excellence in Delivering Embedded Fintech Solutions Across Africa

Cellular (www.Cellulant.io), Africa’s leading payments company, won the Award for Excellence in Embedded Fintech at the 7th edition of the African Fintech Conference in Washington, DC, in conjunction with the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings last month.

The Africa Fintech Summit brings together diverse stakeholders in the fintech space, offering avenues for idea exploration, investment mobilization, and collaboration across sectors and geographies. The Summit highlighted the problems and opportunities in Africa’s finance sector and the entrepreneurs driving the revolution on the world stage.

The award ceremony dubbed the Annual Award at the Fintech Awards recognizes African fintech stakeholders for enabling Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and driving financial inclusion and literacy through innovation.

Cellulant is known for building payment channels that allow access to financial services for both businesses and individuals, thereby offering a seamless payment experience.

Embedded financing is proposed to accelerate growth and drive innovation across Africa. According to a report by Research and Markets, the embedded finance industry in Africa and the Middle East is forecast to grow by 45.3% annually, leveraging strategic partnerships to drive financial inclusion.
