A test conducted today at quarantine centers and testing stations in the Central, Southern, Anseba, and Gashbarka regions diagnosed 34 patients as COVID-19 positive.
Of these, 17 patients come from quarantine centers (2) and laboratory stations (15) in central Asmara. Nine patients come from the test stations of Adi Ugri (7) and Duvalwa (2). Southern region. Seven patients come from the Keren (3), Elabered (2), and Adi-Tekelezan (2) test stations. Anseba region. The last patient is from a test station in Valentz, Gashbalka.
Meanwhile, 20 patients treated at hospitals in the Central (17) and Southern Red Sea (3) regions recovered completely and were discharged from these facilities. Sadly, a pandemic killed an 87-year-old patient in the central region.
Accordingly, the total number of recovered patients increased to 7,731 and the number of deaths increased to 75.
The total number of cases confirmed in Japan has increased to 7,982.
