The Ministry of Health today recorded more than 500 COVID-19 deaths in audit exercises conducted in states across the country to address COVID-19 mortality and untreated new cases.
Of the 551 deaths recorded today, only 45 have occurred in the last 48 hours.
States such as the Western Cape and Kwazul Natal account for a total past death toll of 476 patients with recorded SARS-Cov-2 infections.
Identifying these historical deaths is part of the process of aligning the state’s death line list with excessive deaths.
The state COVID-19 dashboard reflects COVID-19 deaths by death date, not the reported date, and is the most accurate trend of deaths in patients with recorded SARS-CoV-2 infections. Indicates.
