State Witness, Sergeant Thabo Mosia, will continue to testify immediately Murder of Senzo Meyiwa, former goalkeeper of Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates resumes in North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Tuesday morning.
Mosia was the first forensic doctor to visit the home of Meyiwa’s girlfriend’s mother, Kelly Khumalo, where he was shot dead in an alleged robbery in 2014.
Mosia admitted that he had not checked for blood traces in Meyiwa’s car, which was used to transport him to hospital.
Defense attorneys allege that the crime scene was involved.
Attorney-at-Law Zandile Mshololo The 5th defendant in the trial questioned Mosia for not taking pictures of bloodstains when he first arrived on the scene.
Mshololo spokesman: “Why did you not take pictures when you first arrived? Is there anything stopping you from taking the pictures? “
Officer Mosia: “I first had to call the task force board so we can all think about continuing with the evidence.

On Monday, the court heard how oone of the first witnesses to appear on the scene, found water on the floor and saw neighbor Maggie Phiri pick up empty beer cans from the floor because “she did not want the police to see that the people in the house were drinking alcohol.”
After claiming that he had not been involved in the crime scene, Mosia has admitted in court that he did not find any blood stains on the kitchen floor.
This is despite having testified that Meyiwa was shot in the kitchen and said that he bled a lot.
