Dina Asher-Smith won the 200 meters in the Diamond League tournament in Florence with a season best time of 22.06 seconds.
200m world champion Asher Smith won an overwhelming victory. Shaunae Miller Uivo ran 0.03 seconds off the fastest time of the year.
The 25-year-old Englishman has already won the 100-meter dash twice this season for the Tokyo Olympics, which begins in July.
Laura Muir finished third in the spectacular 1500m race won by Sifan Hassan.
British European champion Muir, Kenyan Olympic champion Faith Chepngetich and world champion Hassan of the Netherlands competed in the final lap.
Hassan, Last week broke the 10,000-meter world record Just to do Beaten two days later, Suppressed Kipiegon in the sprint finish and set the world’s fastest time of 3: 53.63, the eighth fastest in history.
Muir dropped in the 200 meters remaining, but still ran in the 3’55.59. This is the second best time of her career and the best record of the season.

Britain’s Andrew Pozzi ran the best of the season at the 110-meter hurdles, but lost to Jamaica’s Olympic champion Omar McLeod, who set the fastest time in the world this year.
South Africa’s Akani Simbine overtook Britain’s CJ Uja in the 100 meters and won in 10:08.
