Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic has officially withdrawn from the ATP hard court tournament in Montreal.
Djokovic, who has refused to take the vaccine, is barred from entering Canada as people must have received their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before their trip.
The ATP Hard Court Tournament is a tune-up event ahead of the US Open in New York.
The 35-year-old, who remains on the entry list for the US Open, previously said he was willing to miss Grand Slam tournaments instead of taking the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Serb failed to defend his Australian Open crown this year after being expelled from the country in January over his vaccination status.
