1,692 positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in South Africa in the last 24 hours under review.
JOHANNESBURG – 1,692 positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in South Africa in the last 24 hours under review.
This increase represents a positivity rate of 6.1%.
Most of the new infections were detected in Gauteng, followed by Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.
Meanwhile, the ongoing Ministry of Health backlog uncovered 10 additional deaths in South Africa related to COVID-19.
One of those deaths occurred in the past 48 hours, bringing our already grim national toll to over 100,000.
