Kaiser Chiefs Fans should wait at least four months before seeing the famous “CBD” play together on the pitch.
Leonardo Castro was injured by Stuart Baxter and confirmed that the striker would not be able to play for up to 16 weeks.
“CBD” reunited this week following the arrival of Keagan Dolly, who found both Castro and Khama Billiat in the Chiefs.
This trio dominated PSL when playing at Mamelodi Sundowns about five years ago. The arrival of Dolly is expected to bring the other two members of CBD to life.
“In the attack, there are options. Perhaps there is Leo Castro who will be out for another 16 weeks and Revo Manyama is back.” Baxter told the media.
Samil Nurkovich is slowly returning from a knee injury, and Baxter hopes that Castro will be at the forefront when he returns to good health.
“Sameel … we now want to be a clean health bill.” He said.
Baxter’s first mission next season is the Chiefs clash with Orlando Pirates at the Curling Black Label Cup on Sunday.
Kick-off at Orlando Stadium is 17:00.
