Malema is confident that EFF’s performance will improve significantly at this year’s LGE compared to 2016-SABC News

EFF leader Julius Marema says his party will win this year’s local elections. He was speaking in Moregger, a suburb of Polokwane in Limpopo. So he introduced candidates to compete for the Polokwane municipality ward.

EFF surprised South Africa’s political situation with its rather brave performance in the 2016 local elections. The party became a kingmaker and won enough votes to coalition with other parties.

EFF won more than 16% of Limpopo’s total votes in the 2016 local elections. The party also won 27 percent of the votes under the Polokwane municipality. Malema says the 2016 local elections were a learning curve for them.

Malema Campaign in Moregger, a suburb of Polokwane:

“We are better experienced now. I didn’t know, but remember the 2014 government and local elections. We are working to understand the politics of Congress. You need to choose attractive candidates. They come from where people are, so all of them are now well experienced and we come here with sincere men and women. That is, when they stood here, they saw them welcoming them. They are delighted to see them, “says Malema.

Malema is confident that EFF will outperform the results of the 2016 local elections.

EFF has won a total of 190 seats in all councils in the state. This was the highest percentage of voter support and council seats won by the party during the election. He says the goal is to govern all Limpopo municipalities this time as a precursor to their performance in the next national and local elections.

“We are targeting poorly performing areas. We have set up pressure groups and are making great efforts. All resources are there because it is important to shake the whole Limpopo. Limpopo is the largest ANC feeder in the country and its base must be tampered with. We are serious about a serious intrusion in 2024. We have many I’m not upset by independents or other small groups. It’s an internal ANC issue, they all come from ANC. ANC must be upset, “Marema added.

Malema also said that if he won the election, his party would abolish the outsourcing of services within the municipality, promising to the people of the Moregger municipality’s work.

“We don’t want cleaners, maintenance workers, security guards, or other regular workers employed by private companies in our municipality. We want to take over all the municipalities in Capricorn. We only ask you to vote for us so that we can bring in employment. We want to work with all herders and the entire community. “

Malema also brought his campaign to Mankweng.
