Mpumalanga Hawks is hunting for the murderer of a policewoman and her sister

The Hawks in Mpumalanga are looking for a man who allegedly shot his girlfriend and her police sister.

The incident happened just over a week ago.

In a statement from the Hawks, Rassie named Nkuna a suspect in the double murder that took place on May 15 in KaNyamazane.

Captain Dineo Sekgotodi said there was allegedly a dispute between Nkuna and his girlfriend, Marcia Mazibuko, 43.

When Mazibuko’s sister, Sergeant Pretty Mazibuko, 42, tried to intervene and “calm the situation,” Nkuna allegedly pulled out his firearm and shot both of them.

“They were rushed to a nearby clinic and pronounced dead on arrival. The suspect fled the scene and the case was reported to police.”

Sekgotodi confirmed that the court had issued an arrest warrant against Nkuna.
