Multiple translations and translations on the Senzo Meyiwa murder case on Monday – SABC News

The murder case of Senzo Meyiwa takes another moment on Monday when four of the accused pleaded guilty in court during the morning session.

Attorney Malesela Teffo wants the Pretoria High Court to first take action on the allegations made by the state in cases 1 and 2.

Teffo has filed a special complaint, alleging that there were errors in the details of the allegations.

Defendants argue that because the statement was obtained under coercionthe arrests of the five men may have been illegal or unlawful.

Tweet from SABC Digital News Senior producer, Sipho Kekana:

Do not stop this event as lawmakers meet the president in the room.

The state told the court that it had received documents from the guards regarding the special request.

The trial took place early Friday morning because the state’s first witness, investigator Sgt Thabo Mosia, fell ill.

The investigation into lawyer Zandile Mshololo – the lawyer for the fifth charge – is expected to continue.

Mosia testifies to evidence of the physical and collective evidence he gathered at the 2014 star-studded shootings.

Questions have been asked about how to fix the crime scene.
