Nissan has named a planner for a new American product

Marco Fioravanti, currently Vice President, Product Planning for Nissan AMIEO Region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania), will join the US Region as VP, Product Planning, Nissan USA and Canada.

Fioravant has worked with Nissan for 9 years in a variety of roles, including product strategy and planning in Switzerland and France, as well as global product marketing head office in Japan.

Prior to joining Nissan, Fioravanti held product planning and marketing positions with two other global automakers.

“With technologies such as electrification and advanced driver assistance playing an increasingly important role for consumers, understanding complex and emerging markets in North America is key to Nissan’s future success,” said Peter Smith, Regional SVP, Corporate Planning Office, Nissan Americas. “We applaud Marco and his proven leadership in the region as we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations in this critical region.”
