Oscar Mabuyane, chairman of the ANC in Austur-Höfði, says that the assessment meeting that will take place on Saturday will deal with the behavior of party members, including the violence that has been seen in recent weeks.

The party’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa, is leading the ANC’s executive committee over the weekend to take part in the district leadership in assessing the 2021 local elections.

Earlier, Ramaphosa said there was nothing dishonest about the meeting and that it was part of the preparations for the ANC conference to be held later this year. Mabuyane agrees.

“When we are preparing for the conference, we know that there is a lot at stake and people are interested in what comes out of the ANC conference, so from the perspective of the province, we are stabilizing with all the dynamics we are seeing, the violence and that. is not a dominant factor in our district we are dealing with it. ”
