KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) police have seized R500,000 worth of dew in Durban.
A 35-year-old man was arrested for practicing dew in Phoenix, north of Durban.
Two women, aged 24 and 47, were arrested after a large amount of dew was found in their house in Greenwood Park.
Police spokesman Nqobile Gwala explained that they had found water-dewy dew.
“During a search of the building, the police found 116 grams of water dew. Cash of R380-00 was seized from the suspect. The 35-year-old man was arrested for practicing dew. A further investigation was conducted that led police to Lonsdale, under the Greenwood Park police area, where large quantities of aquaculture dew were found inside the building. Various packages were also found that were seized by the police. Cash in the amount of R4090,00 was seized on the spot. Two women, aged between 24 and 47, were arrested for practicing dew. The total value of all dew found was R500 000, “says Gwala.
