President Ramaphosa receives final state arrest report – SABC News

President Cyril Ramaphosa has finally received the report from Judge Zondo in Pretoria.
The report should originally have been handed over to President Ramaphosa at 4 p.m.

The Commission’s term of office has been extended several times since 2018 and it is currently estimated that it cost taxpayers around RUB 1 billion.
The final report examines the Estina Dairy Farm contract as well as SABC, Prasa and Transnet.
Judge Zondo said the four-year hearing was a huge undertaking.
After receiving the report through the Commission, President Cyril Ramaphosa understood South Africa’s devastating effects on the economy and society.

Ramaphosa said the occupation of the state was an attack on democracy.
Ramaphosa says, “The work of the Commission plays a vital role in our efforts to occupy the state. The report is much more than a record of widespread corruption, fraud and abuse. It is also a means by which the country can work to ensure that events such as the occupation of the state never happen again. ”
