The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Investigating Directorate (ID) has issued a detention order worth R $ 1.4 billion to former Eskom executives and former Tubular Construction Projects contractors.
The freeze order granted in terms of organized crime prevention law was provided and enforced to all defendants in Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Limpopo.
Former Escom Capital Contract Senior Manager, France Frakdi, Former Group Executive Group Executive, Abram Ma Coral, Former Tubular Construction Project CEO Antonio Trindade, Businessman Mafo Kokugo Moeswana, Former Tubular Holdings Executive Advisor, Michael Lomas, The six individuals they own have received orders.
Sindisiwe Seboka, a spokesman for the Research Office (ID), said: However, there are additional respondents. These are the accused’s spouses. These are some co-trustees of the accused. What has been accused of actually speaking is that it is already widely talked about in the media. Two former Escom employees, an employee, a senior manager, and two managers at a tubular construction holding company, one of whom is Michael Lomas.
They appeared in the Johannesburg District Court today for fraud, corruption and money laundering.
