A robbery occurred in an operation on Tshwane’s Mabopane Unit C on Wednesday afternoon, shooting a doctor’s receptionist and injuring a doctor and another woman.
Netcare 911 rescue workers said the injured woman received advanced life support on-site.
The doctor was bundled in a private car and hurried to the hospital.
Netcare 911 spokesman Shawn Herbst said rescue workers understood that a group of armed robbers had rushed into surgery on Peter Magano Road and demanded cash.
Police are investigating an attempted murder and two murder attempts, police spokesman Captain Kay McBelle said.
“At this stage, the motive is still unknown, but preliminary investigations have shown that about four male suspects wearing facial masks have arrived and started surgery on Toyota Quantum with fake registration plates. It became clear. I fired indiscriminately. “

Makhubele added that police were not free to disclose the identities of the victims at this stage of the investigation.
