The National Institute for Communicable Diseases has reported 3699 new coronavirus infections in the country over the last 24-hour cycle, bringing the total number of cases to 28 4654.
Over 300 people have succumbed to COVID-19-related complications.
This brings the total death toll to 85302.
KwaZulu Natal has the most new infections in 932, followed by 663 in the Eastern Cape and 633 in the Western Cape.
The number of collections is 2688692.
