SABC’s Leanne Manas Awarded French National Order Award – SABC News

The French Embassy honors SABC Morning Live presenter Leanne Manas for her long service to the media sector.

Manas was awarded the Knight of the French National Order Merit for his contribution to journalism, media and several important charitable causes.

The honor was presented during a ceremony at the French Embassy in Pretoria, on behalf of President Emmanuel Macron.

The French National Order of Merit has existed since 1963 and recognizes services and contributions to France.

Former South African recipients include Aspen CEO, Stephen Saad, and Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund CEO, Sibongile Mkhabela.
