The first Imbewu: Seeds Actor Nonsindiso Gcaba, who played the character of Zethu has announced that he has finally tied the knot.

The first Imbewu: Seeds Actress Nonsindiso Gcaba, who played Zethu’s mother Nkululeko took to her Instagram account to say that she is done.

He shared various photos from his wedding day to say that the lobola engagement took place on Sunday, 23 July.

Gcaba has not revealed her husband on social media as she is private.

Fans and celebrities took to his comments section to congratulate him on his exit from the market.

The first Imbewu: Seeds Actress Phindile Gwala Says:

“Congratulations to my dear mother.”


“Thank you Nonsie… you deserve it all.”


“This is you mom…awusemhle congratulations.”

The seasoned actor started his acting career in theaters viz Sun every day and became famous throughout the years.

The publication also revealed that he got a job on Mzansi Magic Umkhoka the second season which will start soon.

Gcaba exited the telenovela in July 2021 as his character Zethu became depressed and committed suicide.

Zethu’s screenplay helped fans discuss mental health issues without fear of public judgement.

Her son’s father Nkululeko (played by Nkanyiso Mchunu) pushed her to the edge and made her suicidal, sad and depressed she eventually became. Zethu was a sweet, carefree and loving woman before she met Nkululeko and she felt betrayed when he abandoned her when she was pregnant and she never recovered from that.

Nkululeko’s second girlfriend (Fikile) when Zethu also killed herself at the end when she found out she was his aunt.

Fikile (Phindile Gwala) as Zethu struggles to live without him and drowns in the sea.

Nkululeko (now known as Kay Sibiya) also had an affair with his brother’s wife Nokuzola (Vuyiseka Cawe) who also tried to kill herself when the Bengus found out that she gave birth to Nkululeko’s child.
