Seven people arrested after robbery and shootout at a Cape Town retail store

Police in the Western Cape have arrested seven people in connection with an armed robbery at a retail store in Houtbay.

According to police, two suspects detained guards and five others broke the store’s glass doors to enter the store on Thursday night.

Seven suspects between the ages of 29 and 40 will appear in the Magistrates’ Court in Wimberg on Monday.
