The war is on between DJ Qness and SheraTheDJ for a late payment and Entertainment SA found the young DJ frustrated.
Kness (Qhubani Ndlovu) is said to owe stunning DJ Sihle Dlamini R12 000 for his services at the Sandton Convention Centre.
Sunday World reports that SheraTheDJ was the finalist at South Africa’s Amapiano Awards six months ago and Qness is now in trouble.
Dlamini insists that he has yet to get what is due to him as he performed at the glittering event. The publication reports that several messages were exchanged between the two musicians.
Dlamini also claims that DJ Kness has been sending him from pillar to post and that their delay was due to a change in accountants.
“Later, when I was doing surveillance, I was told that they were changing the accountant and that my money would be paid soon,” the publication reports.
Speaking on behalf of the SA Amapiano Awards, as Head of Operations, Pleasure Mmutle, confirmed the delay in Dlamini’s payment.
“Yes, I’m aware of Shera’s late payment for the lunch I hosted, but as I told her, it’s sorted. I look forward to working with him in the near future,” he told Sunday World.
Moreover, it is indicated that Dlamini accuses DJ Kness of avoiding phone calls and has also continued through emails but to no avail.
As part of the effort to get the payment, the demand letter said that he should receive Rs 12,000 30 days after the ceremony he booked.
