former Kaiser Chiefs defender Lorenzo Gordinho will remain in Denmark after signing with HB Koege ahead of the 2022/23 football season.
Gordinho recently left Viborg FF, for whom he worked for two seasons, after they decided against extending his contract.
And there was a chance he would return to South Africa, although the centre-back preferred to stay abroad where he felt he was enjoying his football.
Now Gordinho has signed a year-and-a-half deal with HB Køge and is looking forward to joining the club, having been drawn to what they are aiming to achieve in the Danish league.

“When I first heard about the club I was interested in the project here and working with Daniel and the rest of HB Køge’s coaching staff. There is a clear strategy and I believe I can adapt and fit in,” Gordinho told the club’s website.
