The Foundation asserts that the international community must join forces with South Africa as it did to defeat apartheid.
The family and their business partners are said to have defrauded South Africa for nearly R50 billion.
To celebrate World Anti-Corruption Day on Thursday, the Kathrada Foundation hosted a webinar attended by people from different parts of the world, calling for bringing the Guptas back to South Africa.
Anti-corruption day has been celebrated since 2003.
It is in line with the UN approach to combat Corruption.
Foundation President Derek Hanekom says, “We need to take action. The extradition agreement is therefore a step towards this action. International pressure is important. It is truly a travesty of justice that this great corruption has really been felt by the poor in our society more than anyone else. And the perpetrators of this type of corruption roam freely in another country of the world.
