Three suspects in the murder of Hillary Gardee are expected to return to the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court for bail.
The body of Gardee, daughter of chief secretary and lawyer, Godrich Gardee, was found near a tree between Mbombela and Sabi in Mpumalanga in April.
Sipho Mkhatshwa, Philemon Lukhele and Mduduzi Gama are facing charges including murder, rape, kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice.

In a previous court case, the court dismissed a motion filed by Hillary Gardee’s family to keep the court process moving.
No The state said it intends to impose additional charges of plotting to kill the three accused, saying the name of the person they planned to kill would not be revealed for security reasons.
Defense lawyers Lukhele and Gama also filed a lawsuit accusing the state of contempt of court for not admitting the accused for medical treatment after they said they were tortured by the police.
