The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said the two requested a bolt cab early on March 5.

A female driver responded and went to pick them up in Cambridge-but upon arrival there was a debate about paying for the trip.

NPA spokesman Anelisa Ngcakani said:

The accused then allegedly threatened Bolt’s driver and ordered her to go inside their apartment with them. King and Mudreni are said to have raped her as they entered the flat.

She said the two were arrested on the same day.

One defendant was granted bail on R1000 on March 8, and the other abandoned his bail application.

They will reappear in court on July 29th.
