Tyson Fury mentions the price to get him out of work – SABC News

Undefeated World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Tyson Fury said he was “over” with boxing, but could be tempted to re-enter the ring for £ 500m (£ 9.7bn).

Fury, who retained his title after beating Britain’s Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April, announced he was quitting his unbeaten career and told fans he would keep his wife’s promise to quit.

“Boxing and professional fights – I’m so over it – I’ve done everything I’d asked for, defeated all the opponents I’ve met; and to be able to live after that, is not it amazing and beautiful? “said Fury.

When Fury was asked how much money would be needed to tempt him to return, Fury said “£ 500 million”.

The boxer said he would not return to boxing unless he got half a billion to fight again.

Fury’s wife, Paris, says her 33-year-old husband is not serious about his retirement. In April, she said he could return to the ring in the undisputed world title fight against the winner of her rival Anthony Joshua’s upcoming rematch against Oleksandr Usyk, which is set to take place on August 20, 2022 in Saudi Arabia.
