Xi Jinping sends a message of sympathy to Mauritania’s President Mohammed Old Gazouani

On January 8, 2022, President Xi Jinping sent a message of sympathy to Mauritania’s President Mohammed Old Gazouani about the COVID-19 infection.

Mr. Xi Jinping would like to express his deepest sympathies to President Gazouani for being infected with COVID-19. The Chinese government and the Chinese people firmly support the Mauritanian government and the people in the fight against the pandemic. Under the leadership of President Gazouani, I believe Mauritania will surely defeat the pandemic early.
